The Fat Lady Has Not Yet Sung

Election Night results showed 4,172 votes for Sharon Robinson-Briggs for mayor and 1,040 for Bob Ferraro, the only two candidates on the ballot.

The "Personal Choice" tally on Nov. 8 was 1,710, without any further information.

On Thursday, the Union County Division of Elections said there were 2,292 write-in votes for incumbent Mayor Albert McWilliams.

But the official tally will not be available until after 3:30 p.m. Monday (Nov. 14, 2005).

Obviously Sharon Robinson-Briggs is the winner but it may be of interest to voters to see the exact distribution of votes.
