"Nobody Cares"

This graffiti sign on a South Avenue building appears to deplore the killing of young men by other young men here at home. Maybe there will be an update Tuesday on the city's effort to to stem gun violence in Plainfield. The mayor is holding a community forum from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Washington Community School, according to an article in the Courier News.

I am a new fan of his blog, but I did not know he was putting his mark on the city.

The Tagger wants to know why more people are concerned with his writing on the wall, than THE WRITING ON THE WALL - our kids are killing each other, an NOBODY CARE$. I'm a nobody, yet I offer training to young unemployed black men, I've invested personally in their lives with my time an money. TWO liquor stores on SOUTH AVenue but not one New Media Center.

Yes, I knew Mu Mu, and it troubled me, and troubles me deeply that "More of US or KILLING US, than cops killing us, than terrorists killing us, and "NOBODY CARES..." -

And one last thing. I am not leaving my mark on the city. But I AM LEAVING MY MARK ON THE WORLD. If a Nobody Like me can care, with real definable action, while supporting his children and family...what is YOUR excuse.

Less meetings, Less Politics, Less BS - Simply cross those damn tracks to the other side and start CARING. - TMNK

Still in the streets CARING. Not Blogging or commenting, CARING. Still "tagging" the hearts and minds of young black men. Two in college now, One an electrician...ANd TWO in his studio right now, Learning using his studio for free one with a new camera, following their dreams, because NOBODY CARE$. Invest in the PEOPLE and the REAL Property will take care of its self. TAG, YOU'RE IT!
