Think Good Thoughts

Click here for a link to the Teddy Roosevelt quote in Dr. Gallon's letter.
The first time I saw the quote, "The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing" was in Shiloh Baptist Church on an interview with The Rev. Gerald Lamont Thomas. I thought it was his quote, but I just found out it is from motivator Stephen Covey.
(9/5/08 Correction provided by Rev. Thomas: "I discovered the saying from a Mission magazine while studying at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in August of 1989. This was before Covey started using it.")
Motivational quotes and sayings can help get things done. Whether it is on a bulletin board, the refrigerator door or a sticky note on a calendar, a favorite quote is a good reminder to have courage and take action. Dr. Gallon has taken Barack Obama's "Yes, we can!" up a notch to "Yes, we will!"
What's on your refrigerator door?
