The World According to Cammarano

Hoboken Mayor Peter Cammarano stepped down today, but proclaimed his innocence nonetheless, despite some rather incriminating taped remarks.

One hopes that the 44 recent arrests will make everyone in elected office think twice before skirting ethics rules.

So far, Union County politics have not hit the headlines. But we have our eye out ...

Hold your breath Bernice...keep hope alive.... You have no proof, no evidence but you can keep saying it again and again. As Dan does. Such is the beauty of free speech in America. Maybe God will take pity on your daily bedside wishes.

To 12:26am - How naive, but sweet. I can tell you there is nothing democratic about how officials are elected in Union County. First, our own city Democratic Party leader election had the count at more votes than people who were allowed to vote. In Union County election for the Democratic party leader, the election was prescripted and really resembled a circus.

Isn't having bodyguards protect you when there is no evidence that it was warrented a type of stealing? I think so.

Maybe Union County doesn't have the depth of corruption just uncovered, that would be nice. But I do not believe we have no blemishes. I believe lawyers make sure of that.

How long do we have to hear about the bodyguards???? It was DAN DAMON himself, who published the information that there had been death threats against Sharon. What would you have her do? Just shrug it off as "Dan being full of sh*t"? As much as I believe THAT, it would not be prudent to ignore something like that. There was a police investigation and it was extensive. Apparantly there was enough concern to keep the bodyguards active until the apparant threat was resolved. And now they are gone.
Please, get some new material. This is old news. I'm sure you were crying over your keyboard when Plainfield came up clean.
Sorry to disappoint.
