How the NJSP Does Things
If you want to know how the New Jersey State Police deal with trooper infractions, check out this report.
Note that it is from 2008. Investigations and outcomes do not always happen fast.
BTW, a state trooper found guilty of improper use of an office computer gets 20 days' suspension.

Thank you for the information. What if in the infraction there might be something illegal? not necessarily solicitation of a prostitute but like threats or bank fraud or illegal gambling? Would those crimes be also a cause for the state police to arrest in addition to just the use of a computer?
You can't compare a professional organizaion such as the State Police with the City of Plainfield.
