Try Lychnis for Color

Lychnis plants make a rosette of gray-green leaves the first year, then produce a bunch of magenta flowers the second year. The contrast of flower and foliage colors is striking. After the flowers bloom, seed capsules resembling little pepper shakers appear. The dull gray, round seeds pour out in quantity, guaranteeing a new crop.
