I can't believe they are still planning to show Fast and the Furious! It is totally inappropriate! Isn't it part of the National Night Out week events? Where's Councilwoman Carter? I KNOW she wouldn't approve of this event! This is outrageous!

Showing "The Fast and the Furious", especially after the tragically fatal motorcycle accident last Saturday on Watchung Avenue, right in front of Council President Burney's house, would be the height of stupidity.

Does the city actually want to encourage reckless vehicle use, not to mention random violence or casual sex? Does the Public Safety director know about this? Does Dr Gallon?

Who in the administration, exactly, did agree to it, or was it just farmed out to some promoter, indubitably someone's relative, without any thought as to appropriateness or consequences?

I'm going to ask the mayor how she could possibly show that violent movie with MY taxpayer dollars. I will be at the screening along with my block association to protest.
