Four Meetings Coming Up
For those who are not busy with family and holiday matters, the coming week offers several public meetings.
On Monday, the City Council will hold the last of four agenda-fixing sessions in neighborhood schools. This one will be at 7:30 p.m. in Cook K-8 Center, 739 Leland Ave. As of Sunday evening, I could not find any posting of the agenda online.
On Tuesday, there is a Board of Education work and study meeting at 8 p.m. in the Administration Building at 1200 Myrtle Avenue. Click here for the agenda.
On Wednesday, the City Council has scheduled a budget session from 7 to 10 p.m. in the old senior center at 305 East Front Street. The last one, on Thursday at the same location, lacked a quorum.
Also on Wednesday, Dr. Steve Gallon III will hold a Town Meeting at Cedarbrook K-8 Center, 1049 Central Ave. Click here for the flyer.
So if you are not baking cookies or shopping, stop in and see what your elected officials are doing.
