Funny Mash-up
An inadvertent left-over Power Point logo fell upon the city's fabled Alfred Bierstadt painting in Municipal Court Monday, making it appear that indigenous people were hailing the advent of technology.
Most of the last regular meeting of 2009 was perfunctory and did not lend itself to journalistic expatiation.

Thanks for the picture. I too thought it amusing. Perhaps it is symbolic of the interactions between Administration and Council in that room.
A cry for a decent website and IT dept!!

Well, at least we now know we are not alone on hailing, and praying, to the Gods of Technology for a city answer to its poor technology performance.
Maybe it is time to put my Tech gods and saints to rest now that it has been officially revealed that there are "hailing spirits" right in official city grounds!
If there is ever a contest on what the city's funniest pictures are, Bernice, you'll get the first prize! Not to be forgotten the selling of a bridge by a soon to be gone city administrator.
I wish pictures at BOE meetings were this funny!
Thanks, I needed something to smile about today!
I agree with Maria - the photo is great. Hold on to it for one of the Library's Plainfield photo contests!
PS - Everyone in the painting is hailing Dell!
