City of Plainfield use to present beautification awards. When I walk the streets of Plainfield, I see many properties worthy of recognition. Acknowlegement of people's efforts to visually enhance their property should be acknowledged. Who knows, it might even embarrass the exploiters of property to where they may even bend over and pick up the trash & debris, etc. that mars the visual landscape of Plainfield.
