Freedom to Blog and More
Independence Day brings thoughts to bloggers of the past difficulties of making news and opinions known to the general public.
A newspaper must have money and staff to take care of not just the editorial part, but also the production, circulation and advertising components of publishing. Bloggers are spared all that and can just go directly to offering news and opinions online. Granted, we don't get paid, but then again we don't have to buy giant rolls of newsprint or maintain a staff to run the presses or solicit ads.
Free speech online has many benefits and the Electronic Frontier Foundation wants you to help secure them.
