NJ Transit Parking Concession
To the reader who asked about who makes money on train station parking, it is a West Orange firm, Pacific Parking Inc., that has the concession.I have no further information except that it is not the city that profits from train station parking. Most likely NJTransit solicited bids for this service, but I do not know the terms.

No wonder the northerly side of the NJ Transit ROW is unkept: tall grass, bottles, trash, grafeti. Oh yes there is the drug selling and general anti-social behavior that accompanies blight. Now we know that NJ Transit has only contracted this West Orange firm to maintain the southerly ROW- where the parking is. When will the good people of Plainfield say enough or be just fed up with the bungling mismangement or the same old same old? Where is the pride?
