Some Parade Photos

Here's one of the community groups that marched.

In previous parades, campaigning was not allowed. But here is a proud Obama contingent.

City Council candidates were also promoted, as we see here.

Former freeholder Adrian Mapp touts his new slogan as he runs for council.

Underground Custom Cars had several entries in the parade.

PMUA urges, "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle."

A woman on a "bone-breaker" bicycle waves to the camera man up in a bucket over Park & Front.

People of all ages enjoy the parade.

Crazy Faith Riders bring a special tone to the parade.

I think Thundercats is the Plainfield women's softball team, but I am sports-illiterate.

Are these cheerleaders? Anyway, they are very impressive.
Okay, this is where I inadvertently hit some button on the fancy new birthday camera and couldn't get it to work right any more. I had to go home and read the manual. Maybe Dan got some more photos. Anyway, it was a nice event enjoyed by lots of families.
