BOE Meets Tuesday
According to a legal notice, the Board of Education will hold a work and study meeting at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Plainfield High School conference room and a business meeting at 7 p.m. Aug. 12 at Washington Community School.
If the agenda for Tuesday's meeting is at the Plainfield Public Library tomorrow, Plaintalker will post a preview.
The Aug. 5 schedule begins with a 5:30 p.m. Policy Committee meeting and a 6:30 p.m. executive session. The Aug. 12 meeting will be preceded by a 6:30 p.m. executive session.
State officials were supposed to speak at the July 15 meeting, but canceled due to an undisclosed emergency. The reason for the visit was not spelled out, but they were expected to be here this month.
