Another New Blog

Clicking around the Plainfield school district's online web site, I couldn't find the August meeting schedule or Dr. Steve Gallon III's August letter. But what I did find was a new blog!

Click here to see the PPS News blog. It has a mention of Tuesday's meeting as well as a rundown of old titles/new titles, complete with headshots of the people holding them.

Some of the content is drawn from the web site. Other portions are new.

The goal is to have an interactive place for the community to share information and views.

Speaking of sharing information, Asm. Jerry Green or his alter ego e-mailed Plaintalker a copy of the latest post on Jerry Green's Page. Not sure why. Also the writer of the blog notes receiving a lot of comments, but we notice none are published. So far, Plaintalker has published all comments, naughty or nice. Blogspot gives the option of control over comments, so a blogger can choose the level of transparency into what people are saying about a blog. Playing the Great Oz and keeping it all behind the curtain is an option.

I noticed the lack of comments also, but then I remembered I always call the blogger directly to let them know how much I enjoy their postings (wink).

I don't think that Jerry could print most of the comments without a lot of symbols. Since when has Jerry been transparent? He worked for Solaris to close Muhlenberg and then said he tried to save it. Please! Jerry and Sharon deserve to be known as the politicians that allowed Muhlenberg to close, along with many other wonderful deeds.

As the Gate Keeper for The Great Oz says "Go Away!" Since Jerry says his Blog would also include responses to postings written on other blogs of note, as well as responses to readers’ questions, so that we can foster a better dialogue about the problems we face and work together to find the best solutions.", I simply asked him his spin on the waste of taxpayers money for body guards for the Mayor of Plainfield. So i guess i can expect hell to freeze over before a response is made

And let's not forget the campaign contributions that both Jerry Green and Linda Stender received from Solaris Management!

Solaris knew how to make this a "done deal" from the start!
